Robert Axle call this ‘Tykepacking’, which we think is pretty cute. Kid Trailer axle’s replace your bikes existing 12mm thru axle with one you can attach a trailer to. These axle’s work with just about any trailer, if you have a Thule, a Chariot or a Burley, RAP axle’s will work.
Replace your bike’s stock axle with a trailer compatible axle, on every adults bike & you can share the load on the ride! Not only are these axle’s handy to leave on your bike even when you don’t need to tow your tyke, they are a top quality axle. RAP axle’s are stiffer and have threads machined to a higher tolerance than your stock axle. This means they are more reliable & durable than your original axle. They will not loosen over time & damage your frame the way a low quality axle can.
