The Ortlieb Back-Roller is a pair of fully waterproof, extremely durable & endlessly popular Ortlieb panniers.
These panniers by Ortlieb are pretty much the standard across the world. You will have seen them out there on the roads, because Ortlieb have been making them for 40 years. And they are pretty much indestructible!
A simple design, with durable construction & replacement parts & accessories available for decades, the Back-Roller is an easy choice if you are considering which bicycle pannier to buy.
Sold as a pair, these fully waterproof, roll-top closure bags come with a shoulder strap that fastens neatly on the bag when you don’t need it. They also have an internal pocket for organizing your belongings.
Mounting to your bike’s rack by Ortlieb’s QL2.1 Mounting system, these panniers are very simple to use. And they are supplied with all the hardware you need to fit the bags to your bike, no further accessories are required.
The QL2.1 mounting system works by simply lifting the bag by the carry handle, which disengages the lock from your rack and you can drop the bag back on just as easily when you are ready to ride.
