Description
The Ergon SFC3 Gel saddle is a ‘Comfort Fitness’ saddle designed to prevent you from going numb!
This is an ‘all-round’ saddle in that it is designed to work for commuter bikes, ebikes, mountain bikes & road bikes. This everyday saddle is ergonomically designed to be a comfortable ‘basic’ saddle that will be more comfortable than the stock one on your bike.
Ergon is all about pain free cycling – which we at Abbotsford Cycles appreciate. Ergon saddles – like their grips – are comfortable, high quality & hard-wearing. Unlike other saddles which may wear through from riding with your jeans on, Ergon saddles are made of high quality material!

Check out the below info from Ergon about the science of their saddle design & why you will love them!
Relief by pressure distribution
The area around the sit bones is less pressure-sensitive than the perineum and genital area. As a result this area will better distribute the load of upper body weight across the saddle surface. So Ergon has designed their saddles with a flat, even contact surface covering high-quality orthopaedic foam.
Due to the Ergon relief channel in the center of the saddle, there is no pressure on sensitive soft parts. The result, numbness is actively reduced.
- Optimal pressure distribution for effective relief and protection of the perineum and genital area.
- Extra comfort thanks to large gel pads, which follow the sit bones during pedalling.
