Teravail make tyres for every terrain. For bikepacking & gravel riding, trust no other. Check out the gravel friendly Washburn & the speedy Rutland.
Teravail is the latest in a series of brands that have popped up making excellent gravel & mtb tyres. We particularly appreciate their inclusion of durable & supple variations on their tyre treads.
Because sometimes you care more about puncture protection, and other times you want some speed.
The difference between Teravail tyres that are are ‘durable’ are mostly about the sidewall. Now if you have ever had a sidewall rip on your ride, you know how annoying this kind of failure is. You will generally find a gumwall tyre has a weaker sidewall.
The light & supple version of a Teravail tyre on the other hand, is more about speed. The tyre construction is still just as good as any other tyre, but will lack the reinforcing of the durable version.
