Description
The Apidura Bottle Cage Adapter makes it possible to lower or raise bottle cages by 55mm. It also converts standard two-bolt mounts into three-bolt mounts, allowing for larger cages and greater carrying capacity.
This bottle cage relocator simply bolts onto bottle cage mounts, creating 55mm of vertical movement to make it easier to fit bottles alongside a frame pack. Using the supplied bolts, the bottle cage is then attached directly to the bottle cage adapter. With three mounting points available, it is possible to convert standard two-bolt mounts into three-bolt mounts.
Made from lightweight 6061-T6 aluminium alloy, this adapter is low profile and unobtrusive. Some frames will require a single bottle cage relocator, while others (typically smaller frames) will require a pair to minimise overlap with any frame bags. The adapter is most effective at creating space when combined with side entry bottle cages and is compatible with all two and three bolt cages.
Only the supplied bolts should be used, to ensure adequate clearance between the bottle cage adapter and the frame.
