Description
The Park Tool Rotor Truing Fork DT-2 will held you straighten your disc brake rotors using both a ‘large adjustment’ and ‘small adjustment’ end.
Even new bikes can have bent rotors! With this truing fork you can easily fix that frustrating ‘shing shing’ sound of a bent rotor.
You may also find yourself in need of a rotor adjustment after heavy use of your brakes. This is a result of the heat from the friction of your brake pads touching the rotor material. And of course a very common reason for a bent rotor is from impact. A Park Tool Rotor Truing Fork might not be in everyone’s spares kit, but you will find it exceptionally handy to not need to take your bike to the shop for small problems!
Using the tool is intuitive and with a small & large slot you can fine-tune your rotor. For bending a large section of the rotor you will be able to use the larger slot. And for those small adjustments just on the outer edge of your rotor there is the small end slot. Both of these slots have been placed at the end of the tool where you will gain the most leverage. Because Park Tool know how to make the best tools!
