Description
The Tubus Vega Classic is a low profile, single rail rear rack designed for carrying pannier bags. Great for road bikes or gravel bikes where you don’t want too much bulk or weight, the Vega is compatible with almost all pannier bag mounting systems (including ORTLIEB’S).
Want an even more minimalist look? The TUBUS FLY is designed to mount via a singular roundstay for an unobtrusive design.
Tubus Vega Classic Compatibility & Specs
Like all Tubus Classic models, this rack is compatible with the QUICK RELEASE ADAPTOR allowing you to install the rack on your bike even if you don’t have mounting holes in your frame. If you have mounting holes in your frame for a rear rack, the TUBUS FLY EVO is an equally minimal design of rack that will work for you.
Compatible with both rim brake & disc brake bikes.
Designed for road bikes with 26″ or 700c wheel sizes, if you are installing the Tubus Vega on a mountain bike with 29er wheels, choose the model that suits.

Installation
Installing Tubus racks often involves bending & cutting the provided roundstays to suit the geometry of your bike & ensure the rack is level once installed. If you are local to Melbourne, we encourage you to bring your bike in to our Richmond bike shop so that our mechanics can fit your Tubus rack to your bike for you, as it can be a difficult job at home without tools.
