The Sea to Summit Frontier Ultralight Collapsible Bowl is engineered for lightweight durability, collapsing down to less than 2cm.

Premium, EU food-grade materials – glass reinforced nylon 66 and silicone rubber – combine with clever design to create light, functional camp dinnerware. Each bowl now has a rim so you can hold it securely and a curve between the base and sidewalls that matches Sea to Summit spoons. The Medium Bowl is designed to nest with the collapsible 2L Pouring Pot. Sea to Summit was the pioneer in collapsible tableware – the Frontier series is the next step in this journey.

Frontier Bowls should not be used in a microwave

No! The base and rim are made of really strong glass-reinforced nylon; the bowls are tested on a rig that extends and collapses each item 5,000 times

Is Frontier tableware dishwasher safe?

Yes – Frontier tableware can be washed in a dishwasher

No – there are safety concerns about a press-fit lid on a collapsible bowl

TECHNOLOGY

The handles, lids and catches of our kitchenware fit nicely in your hand for comfort and balance and are smooth and easy to operate. Utensils are shaped to harmonise with the curves of our pots, bowls and plates.

The heat-resistant silicone used in Frontier and Detour dinnerware is certified to both EU and FDA food grade standards, signifying very low absorption of external materials. It is also heat resistant to 300­ºF/150°C and doesn’t crack in cold temperatures. The heat-resistant silicone used in Frontier and Detour cookware is similarly EU and FDA food grade certified, is heat resistant to 440­ºF/225°C and doesn’t crack in the cold.
