The Park Tool Adjusting Cap Tool (BBT-10.2) will allow you to remove & install crank arm caps on Shimano Hollowtech II cranks. Including those found on e-bikes.

This specialty tool has a built-in hook to lift the safety plate on Hollowtech II crank arms. Making crank removal speedy. And because this is a professional workshop quality tool the cast steel will provide good leverage for removing seized or overtightened caps. 

Because Shimano Hollowtech cranks are exceedingly common, this tool is a useful addition to your arsenal. Even if you will be buying a new bike in the future, it’s a relatively safe bet to keep this tool in your garage for your next bike.
