Description

The Ortlieb Fork-Pack Plus 5.8L is a fully waterproof, roll-top closure bikepacking must-have. Made from super tough Cordura material, this bag is super light weight – only 325g. And that includes the adapter plate.

Cordura is famously the most popular material in premium bikepacking bags for its lightweight durability. Cordura is tough & light & doesn’t rip when you are riding through the trees on the trail.

In the tradition of cargo cages, this fork bag is designed to mount on untapered forks. But you don’t need mounting bosses or fork eyelets to mount it. Using a clamping system to attach to to your fork, you can position the adapter plate to your desired orientation. Meaning you can be sure the bag isn’t in the way when you’re riding.

This is an almost universal solution for those without accessory mounts on their fork. As long as your forks are untapered & between 30 & 42mm in diameter, you are ready to roll. Once your clamp is on & adapter mounted, removing the bag from your fork is easy. In fact it takes seconds to remove your fork bag, simply flick the lever on the bag & it releases.

This is a crowd favourite from a bikepacking perspective. While designed for a tour, the Abbotsford Cycles team have used these on bikepacking trips to the envy of others on the ride!
