The MKS Sylvan Touring Pedal (sold as a pair) is a comfortable, functional & beautiful pedal for your touring bike.
these pedals are designed for a lifetime of use, and long days on your bike. You won’t find a better flat touring pedal than this. With a large platform area or ‘step area’ you can place your foot in a multitude of positions. This is particularly important for those long days on a tour, and for easier mount & dismount of a loaded bike.
The Touring pedal is also just a great addition to a vintage bike or a steel frame bike of any kind. We love these as a commuter pedal for their decent step area combined with their durability.
You can also easily attach toe clips & straps to prevent slippage. Even so, with a not-particularly aggressive tooth profile on the pedal cage, you can easily wear any shoe with these pedals.
The MKS Sylvan Touring pedal has remained a steadfast go-to for cyclists over the last four decades. Give them a shot yourself!
