The Ergon GC1 Biokork Grips are a sustainable version of Ergon’s famous GC1’s. Not only are these a super comfortable solution for your bars, they also match perfectly to gumwall tyres.

These grips are a simple & extremely effective upgrade for a commuter bike or a bikepacking set up. With a wide platform for resting your hand you reduce the angle at which your wrist is held & comfort prevails!

We fit these Ergon grips to bike’s every day at Abbotsford Cycles, because they are simply the easiest way to improve your riding experience.

They are particularly great for swept or set-back handlebars to further increase your comfort. Made from a durable rubber & using lock-on ends these grips will not slip or wear down to a sticky mess the way other grips do!

For a cheap & effective upgrade on your commuter bike, we absolutely recommend the GC1’s.

Wrist Relief

If the wrist is bent too much when biking, the carpal tunnel can be compressed. The carpal tunnel syndrome can be noticed by a burning pain in the hand or forearm. The wing grip offers a perfect solution to this common issue. By correcting the hand position with a more ergonomic surface area, the carpal tunnel is relieved and pain is prevented.

Even Softer – even more grip

As a further development of the GA2 series, the textures of the GA3 grip are even more adapted to the hand and thus require less gripping forces.

Two Sizes – for more control

In order to help you maintain perfect control over your bike, your hands should not completely envelop the grip, which is why Ergon offers many grips in two size diameters – “Small” and “Large”. The difference refers to the grip width (hand size), meaning a larger hand will have a more positive fit on a thicker grip, while a smaller hand is better fit to a smaller grip. For hand/glove sizes 6.5 to 8.5 we recommend “Small”, for 8.5 to 10.5 “Large” usually is better.

The material used in Ergon grips meets the highest quality purity standards, is TÜV-certified, durable and absolutely unique in the world of cycling grips. Developed without filler and using medical grade white oil as the only plasticizer. The UV-resistant rubber compound has been developed and is manufactured exclusively for Ergon in Germany. Internal Clamp

The internal aluminum clamp of the GA series leaves ample space for a wide gripping style.

Tapered Wall Thickness

The wall thickness of the inner core is tapered, meaning it proceeds with different, precisely calculated diameters to optimize the damping comfort of the grips.
