Because all bikes & all set ups are different Busch & Muller make a number of mounting options. Short stem options are good for handlebars which have a strong curve. Or if you are concerned about adjusting to having this extra length on your bars!

However the longer the arm the easier it is to keep an eye on those far behind you. Making it useful for riding in large groups or on roads with high speed limits. 

The Cyclestar mirror has a 60mm diameter mirror face, and comes in a variety of ‘arm’ types. 

These mirrors are designed to mount into the end of your handlebar. So they will take the place of the ‘end plug’ you probably have in your bars from your handlebar grips.

Something to keep in mind when selecting the length of the stem is how much ‘wider’ your handlebars will be. If your handlebars are quite wide, imagine that with a long stem option their effective length will now be  13 cm longer than that. So watch out for those close passers!
