Description
The handsome Brooks Swift saddle is the youngest leather racing saddle in the Brooks range, featuring delicately hand-skived lower flaps, where a thin stripe of the leather top surface is cut back, thus exposing the lighter coloured suede beneath, which makes for an attractive visual accent and greater comfort when pedalling. The large copper rivets at the nose and rear are also hammered by hand, commensurate with our usual high level of attention to detail. A perfect saddle for racing or fast touring in the forward position.

How to care for your leather saddle
Owning a leather saddle is a different experience to one which is made from rubber. Just like a good pair of leather shoes you will need to maintain your new leather saddle with Proofide. And Brooks Proofide Saddle Dressing will also help with the “breaking-in” process which makes a leather saddle so comfortable. Accordingly, Proofide will also help to keep the leather supple as it is carefully formulated to condition, preserve and shower-proof your saddle. Brooks Proofide is the only substance that should be used to take care of your Brooks saddle.
How to choose the right Brooks Saddle
When it comes to choosing a saddle, it can be extremely challenging to figure out what you need. A good quality saddle is not cheap, and it can be difficult to commit to something you haven’t sat on. But Brooks saddles are some of the best you can buy. So even if you are unsure, check out our Blog post on Bicycle Saddle 101 to figure out which one will work for you.
