Description
For women and smaller riders who desire pressure relief, the B17 Carved Short features the “registered cutting” technology which first appeared on Brooks saddles in the 1890s. Still providing relief today, the B17 Carved is made from vegetable tanned leather that will age beautifully over time. Additionally, laced saddle flaps allow for increased tension and preserve the saddle’s shape. A more flexible saddle than the standard B17, this comfortable bike seat is finished with steel rivets and a steel undercarriage.

How to care for your leather saddle
Owning a leather saddle is a different experience to one which is made from rubber. Just like a good pair of leather shoes you will need to maintain your new leather saddle with Proofide. And Brooks Proofide Saddle Dressing will also help with the “breaking-in” process which makes a leather saddle so comfortable. Accordingly, Proofide will also help to keep the leather supple as it is carefully formulated to condition, preserve and shower-proof your saddle. Brooks Proofide is the only substance that should be used to take care of your Brooks saddle.
