Spokes

We stock and recommend DT Swiss Stainless steel spokes. We have a high quality spoke cutting and thread rolling machine, so we can produce quantities of 14 gauge spokes quickly, at a slight premium. We also sell DT nipples separately.

We normally have in the shop good quantities of;

silver Champion spokes, 2.0mm straight 14 gauge in sizes from 250mm to 315mm ;

and;

silver Alpine III Triple butted 2.34/13gauge head, 1.8/15g shaft, 2.0/14g threaded section,  250 to 300mm.

The Champion spokes are also available in black ; we hold a limited range of sizes in stock.

We recommend Champion for rebuilding rear wheels on newish bicycles with spoke failure, Alpine for heavier duty use such as loaded touring or hard commuting. We guarantee our wheel building for at least 12 months. 

We also stock a limited range of sizes of Competition 1.8mm/15g with 2.0/14g threaded ends silver or Black.

 Revolution 1.5mm/17g shaft with 2.0mm ends, are available in silver and black, where ultimate lightness rather than durability is the aim.

Super Comp 14/16/15g, New Aero elliptical 14/19g, Aero Speed, and AeroLite are also available.

 We also supply lower quality Stainless and Chrome plated spokes when requested, in sizes ranging from 75mm to 311mm.
